‘Sleek By 50 Cent’ Headphones Will Feed The Hungry In The USA
Sleek By 50 Cent (@50Cent) to feed the hungry? Usually when we think about hip-hop our first thoughts aren’t charity. Quite the opposite usually. Nothing says excess and selfishness like hip-hop. Scantily clad women, high end automobiles, premium spirits, mansions and diamond watches. Pretty much everything that screams life in the fast lane!
Rapper 50 Cent born Curtis Jackson is actually doing something to change that. 50 Cent has released his line of premium wireless headphones called ‘Sleek by 50 Cent’. That in of itself is not what is so remarkable. What is however remarkable is that he giving proceeds to feed the hungry. But even better than that, to feed the hungry right here in the United States!
Now to me that is the best charity. It is about time that we finally start being concerned and taking action to help provide meals for people right here in this very country. There aren’t many organizations and in fact NONE that I have personally been able to find that feed the hungry right here at home.
50 Cent promises that his new line of SMS Audio headphones will beat out any current market competition, but the G-Unit CEO is also donating some of the proceeds from headphone sales to Feeding America. “Because of my Street King initiative, with every purchase there’s a meal being provided through the United Nations World Food Programme,” Fif tells MTV News. “And with this actual project, I decided I wanted to do something here in America. So for every pair of these headsets that are sold domestically and online through SMSAudio.com, 250 meals will be provided by Feeding America, which is our leading charitableorganization against hunger.” (RapFix)

Bentley’s on 27th Charlotte N.C [FOOD]
While on a recent trip to Charlotte North Carolina I had to opportunity to have dinner at a place that I had heard about but hadn’t had opportunity to eat at the last time I was there and that was Bentley’s on 27th. Bentley’s is appropriately named as it’s perched on the 27th floor of Charlotte Plaza Building on College street!
Bentley’s offers a gorgeous panoramic view of downtown Charlotte to increase enjoyment of the dining experience. Recessed lighting gave our dinner dining a very warm and intimate feeling.
Our group was shown to a private dining room and wow, was it nice. We even had our own private bar and bartender. I didn’t imbibe any libations so I am unable to comment on the drinks.
Prior to our Entree’s we indulged in the appetizers. They had an incredible sampler platter which combined very tasty crab cakes, Tiger Prawns, and Calamari.
It took a while to get our food but let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it. I forget exactly what I ordered all I know is I got a hunk of meat set in front of me that they soaked it in bourbon and then set it ablaze alongside a potato! To say that this dinner was great would be a massive understatement.
Pricing for the average meal is about $45.00
If dining in the lap of luxury with wonderful views then Bentley’s on 27th is the place to visit in charlotte.
