Hotels.com® smells romance €“ or maybe scented candles €“ in the air as they release results from the 2012 Romance Survey. The survey found that many couples like to get away for Valentine€™s Day, and gleaned insights into their hotel rooms with some intimate findings. What do men and women think about Valentine€™s Day hanky-panky? Read on to find out!
When asked, €œWhat is a must-pack item for a romantic weekend?€ Lingerie came out on top €“ (64 percent females; 50 percent males.) The second item couples reach for is the camera (30 percent females; 36 percent males.) We€™ll leave it up to the imagination if they are used together. A few other questions include: How often do you and your partner make time for romance during vacation and where is the most romantic place for hanky panky in a hotel? However, jewelry creeps into second place with 32 percent of women and 26 percent of men responding a sparkly bauble is the ideal Valentine€™s Day gift.
